Speech by the Prime Minister have sakhti - Samy Vellu

KUALA LUMPUR 17 October - MIC President Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu described the speech Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak UMNO General Assembly in 2009 as a sakhti or power and strength of its own.

According to him, what is clear from his speech Najib is already providing power to the people.

"Speech is no sakhti, no power or strength. Prime Minister give that power to the people where they can be united to support the government that actually served to the people," he said.

He said this at a press conference organized after the MIC Deepavali open house at the Putra World Trade Center (PWTC) here today.

General Assembly speech on the party which ended yesterday centered on the importance of united, ready to change, to wholeheartedly serve the people and the sacrifice of a leader.

Samy Vellu said he was present on the first day Najib spoke at the rally and take note of what is read.

"There are some new things in his speech," he said.

According to him, MIC will take instruction from the speech Najib to UMNO members.

Add Samy Vellu, sakhti or strength shown Prime Minister explained that one thing which the country is now in a way that is most suitable.

In the same context he said, any MIC leaders who do not want to work hard are requested to leave the party concerned.
